The Day Off

Part One

Catching Up

Miranda is sleeping her queen size bed with one hand under her pillow and the other in her sheets which white silk, her bed is made of dark wood and her comforter is silk black color with white Chinese Dragons on it white pillows to match. To the right to her bed is a nightstand with a sliver lamp and alarm clock with her Iphone on it. Her phone starts to ring. Miranda wakes up and starts to sit up revealing that she is wearing a silk yellow slip with a black bra under it. She picks up the phone and places it by her ear.

Miranda says Hi my I ask who is speaking as her eyes begin to adjust to being open.  She is now sitting up.

Hi my name is Mike Hinder and I am with the Portal Corp and I was told to tell you that you are needed here in an hour.

 Miranda says is there something wrong?  She moves her left hand under her pillow and grabs the gun she keeps under it and places it in her lap.

No No nothing is wrong here. However you are needed here because Desdemona would like to have a word with you.

Miranda says Ok I will be there in an hour then. She then pushes the end call button Miranda moves around to sit on the side of her bed and then slides her pretty little feet in her white bunny slippers. She gets up and places her gun in on her desk as she walks to her bathroom.

                Sometime later she is done with her bath. She comes back in her room wearing only a white towel she goes to her hanger she has on her door to the bedroom and grabs her Justice Corps Uniform and laid it on her bed then she walks to her dresser and grabs her under wear. About ten minutes later she is sitting on the edge of her bed double checking her guns. Miranda says Nina you look really good and then she says so do you Mina. She then grabs her phone and starts to play Let me blow ya mind by Eve from the speaker. As she is walking she takes one last look in the mirror and an old picture so she can see how much her hair is growing back.

                She is now downstairs outside her apartment in Rings Row In super speed mode running very fast as she heads to the nearest portal. She loves to travel like this and the feeling it gives her as she is running pass everything with the wind blowing in her hair.

In the Underground there is a special room made for Penelope Yin who is putting some normal everyday outfit in a garment bag to wear latter today. The bag is on her bed which has four teddy bears on it. It has only been a week she has been free of the mental hold of Tillman, She loves her new freedom and the fact that Aurora and Calvin Scott have took her in to help her get on her feet. She has also grown to think of Desdemona as a friend.

In a room next to hers Calvin is kissing Aurora and hugging her as he gets ready to say good bye to her for a day. She is wearing the outfit that Tillman use to have her wear. It has grown on her where Aurora does not mind wearing it. Calvin gives n complaints about it either.

Aurora says Desdemona is waiting for me my love. I will be back tomorrow as she takes a long up and down at him. Besides today you have a meeting here with That Primal Earth Hero Stateman. I will of course take Penelope with me.

Calvin says She has taken to you as he gets one last look at his wife and do not worry you great honey. He grabs her bag and walks her to the door.

Aurora says Penelope has with a smile on her face. They walk to the door to Penelope’s room and knock on the door to the room. Aurora says it’s time to get going.

Penelope says Ok I am coming Miss Aurora. She walks to the room door with her bag laid over her left arm. She takes one look back to make sure nothing was left behind.

Desdemona is waiting for them at her base she is reading a book on soul transfer magic. She flips a page in the Green hardback Tome. Then a Portal appears across the room.  She looks up from her back and a grin comes to her face and she takes her mask off her face and closes the book then sends the book away to later. She then summons her bag and lays it over arm.

                Aurora and Penelope come out of the portal and see Desdemona standing there waiting for them with her white mask off and a grin on her face.

Aurora says Desdemona hi there it’s been a day since you came by and told us to meet you here. However you will not say why as she walks up hug Desdemona who hugs her back. Penelope looks on as she slowly walks up to Desdemona and does the same.

Desdemona says I know you two can read my mind however I wanted you two to come with me to Primal Earth as a day off from all this and to relax for a bit. The reason I did not say what we will be doing is because well I had to be sure I would find my new friend there Miranda. She is a Preatorian just like you two and she helped me when I was in the Underground and you two get free of Tillman.

Penelope says Yeah I remember her and her friends and that they all were wearing those white and red uniforms. Penelope starts to smile and Aurora looks at her and can tell she is thinking about and shakes her head. Desdemona does not even try to find out what.

Aurora says Ok I think we are ready to go Desdemona. Desdemona starts the spell to the portal to the Primal Earth portal room.

                At Portal Corp Miranda is outside of the main portal room as a man comes running up to her wearing a white lab jacket and a suit. Hey Miranda you must be her right?

Miranda says yes it’s me Miranda as she waits for him to catch up to her. He makes it to her and says Hi my name is Mike Hinder and we talked on the Phone. Desdemona will be coming to us from the Portal on the Right. Miranda says thanks and heads to the Portal room.

                In the Portal room is Miranda Hawkeye now and three women appear as they phase in view. Miranda starts to walk up to wear they are and Desdemona waves at her Penelope and Aurora both look at Miranda real good and read her mind real fast before they stopped themselves.  Miranda says Hi Eve and Penelope and Aurora. Welcome to Primal Earth. Desdemona says Hi Miranda how have life been this past week?

Miranda says It has been going well for a change. Miranda gives Desdemona a hug and Desdemona hugs her back.

Aurora says It is nice to meet you again and under good times too. I am glad I have a trust worthy person to show us around Primal Earth today. Miranda looks her Desdemona and says Eve well Mike did not tell them that or I would have showed up in something better to walk around in.

Desdemona says Men… They always leave out the details. I told him oh well. With her hands on her hips she says this.  A clockwork droid walks in the portal with the garment bags in his hands. Penelope says Rusty follow us. The bot says as you wish miss Penny.

Penelope says Great. Then she walks up to Miranda then says Hi there Miss Hawkeye. Miranda waves to her and says Hi Penelope so how have you been? Penelope says I am feeling good now. So you are going to show us your base so you can get changed. That is great oops… I did it again.

Miranda laughs It’s ok and Yes that is where we are going first Penelope. Aurora I will like to see where your base is and thank your Super Group member that are there for what they did for me. Miranda says I am sure they will like that Aurora. She then turns around and says follow me.

The four ladies walk outside with a robot behind them. As they walk outside they can see as a few men that across the field look at them. Aurora gives a mean looks as she reads their minds. Miranda leads them to the Super Group Portal and says here it is Ladies then they go in the Portal.

Day off

Part Two

Super Team Base

The four ladies and the Clockwork bot phase in the base. As they appear the first thing they see is man with pointed ears who is walk pass the portal room. He stops as he sees them. Johnny Raven says Hi Miranda and wow it is Desdemona and Penelope and Aurora. How and well it’s nice to see you ladies again. By the way my name is Johnny Raven.  He looks at Miranda for an answer.

Miranda says Hi Johnny Raven I am showing my friends around today. She looks at him and he starts to warm up. Johnny Raven says ok well please make your at home ladies.

Desdemona says Thank you JR, Penelope says thank mister Raven as she stares at his ears. Aurora says thank you Johnny Raven. She looks at the tables and the three men who are sitting done playing a game  of Poker with a few bottles of Rum on the table who are all looking at the four ladies that just walk into the room.

Penelope says Rusty stay here and do not hurt anyone. Bot says yes miss Penny. Penelope moves to the table ahead of Aurora and Miranda as Desdemona stops for a second to have a talk with JR.

At the Table is a man dressed like a Pirate and a man with a mask on his face and a man with goggles and there is a chair open where JR was sitting but it looks like he left the game. Miranda walks up to the table with Penelope next to her. Aurora is right behind her and behind her Johnny Raven and Desdemona.

Miranda says Desdemona, Penelope and Aurora meet Captain Mohragn, Dragon Edge and Torchlight. She looks across the table and she knows what they are thinking. Captain says Hi there ladies why don’t you join us for a second and enjoy some rum on the house Rum all around. Torchlight says Hi there ladies as he looks all four of them up and down but his eyes stop as he looks at Penelope and sees that she is looking at him and see places one arm on Miranda and whispers something in her ear which causes Miranda to look at him.

 Aurora says sure why not one drink will not hurt me or Des.  Dragon Edge pours them both a drink and hands it to them.

Desdemona takes her and says Johnny Raven I would like to thank your team for helping me out this last month I would have not been able to finish what I was doing without you all.

Johnny Raven says Thank you but It is not really my team right now. Are boss will be here soon and you can thank her soon.

Desdemona says hmm I will like to meet her. She takes a slip from the glass. Behind her Captain is staring at her backside and he gets a tap on his right shoulder and he turns around sees Dragon Edge pint at his head and he turns around then looks at Aurora who starts to laugh at the Captain.

Miranda whispers back at Penelope be careful with that one. He is a ladies man. She looks at Captain and Aurora who is laugh at him and hears a voice says are we missing out on a Party or something.

Miranda and Penelope turn around and see Brass Angel standing behind them white his Golden Paint job and next to him is a red head named Perpetual Fallout. She looks around the room and says we are missing out on something.

Johnny Raven It’s are leader He looks at Desdemona who looks at him and taps him on his arm back and says we have meet before twice. Once before I changed my ways we hand a fight. Johnny Raven but you two are on good terms now right? He places his left hand on her shoulder. Miranda prepares to stand in the middle to stop a fight if it happens.

Perp says Hi Desdemona no hard feelings about that blast to the back I gave you. I am sorry about it but you gave me no choice. She stands there waiting for an answer and every turns to wee what is about to happen.

Desdemona says I do and I know I was wrong at the time. She walks up to Perp and says Thank you for helping me see the light and offers her hand out to perp.

Perp shakes her hand and says but may I ask why are you here today. Miranda answers with I am showing them around today. We are here so we all can change to some new clothes

At this moment Penelope walks up to Brass angel and looks him over with Brass Angel looking back at her. Penelope says cool hmm but who made you Miranda? Her face is just full of joy as she likes robots.

Brass Angel says No Miranda did not make me and I am no bot but where I came from is unknown. He looks back at her with his arms crossed as Penelope turns to look at Aurora and Miranda and Captain as he tries to flirt with Aurora.

Dragon Edge begins to clean his sword now that he can tell this game is over at lease for now. He looks at Torch who gets up and walks over to Penelope. Torch Light says So how are you enjoying your visit so far Penelope?

Penelope says I am really enjoying it here. This place of yours is really nice Torch Light. She says with her hands together showing that she is nerves at talking to him.

Torch says well you can just call me Damion.  He looks at her and can tell she likes him. Torch smiles and says so you are here for just a day?

Penelope says yes it looks that way. That is what miss Aurora and Miranda said.

Desdemona says Perp I would also like to says I like very thankfully for what Justice Corps have done for us she looks at Perp and Brass Angel and JR. When this is over I would like to do something special for your corps group Aurora gets up and walk over to four and waves her hand at captain as she gets up smiling at the captains jokes. Aurora I would also like to talk you for what you all have done for the Preatorian people. When this is all over I will like to do something special but as to what that is I am not sure what it will be.

Brass Angel says Misses Scott I am very graceful for the thanks but we still have work to do to fully help your people. He looks on as Miranda walks up.

Miranda says My people have come along way indeed but today is not for thinking of the battles but a day to relax so relax a little as she puts are arms around Desdemona and Aurora.

Perp says I got a good Idea. There is a new spa that opened I have been wanting to check out so what do you ladies say?

Aurora that sounds good to me. She turns to Desdemona and Miranda who both at the sametime says It does sound good. Aurora then says How does a spa sound to you Penelope. A spa um maybe but I wpuld like to see something else.

Torch says I can show her around. Perp looks at him and at Aurora. Captain gets up and says to himself Torch alone with her then he laughs to himself.

Aurora says I am good with that. Now you take care of her Torch Light.

Torch Light you can count on me Ma’am. Brass Angel looks at as they see Penelope call for her droid as he walks up. Perp goes to make the phone call and Johnny Raven walks off to the Teleporters and Brass Angel watch’s the Droid walk up and Penelope grab the bags from it. Then Brass sees her point at him and the droid and the droid walk up to Brass. It says miss Penny told me to help you out to she returns. Well there is some cleaning that has to be done Brass says. Droid I am ready to starting on your command Golden Angel as miss Penny calls you.

Miranda, Desdemona, Penelope and Aurora go to get changed to some normal clothes and Perp followed them still on the phone.

About 25 minutes later the come back to the main lobby room Torch Light and Captain are both still there along with Dragon Edge who is still cleaning his sword. The other two guys look on at the five ladies. Starting from the left:

Desdemona is wearing a black tank top a black belt with sliver spikes and a necklace with a sapphire in a pendent around her neck and a pair of tight black leather pants with a pair black leather boots on.

Aurora is wearing a pair of tight dark blue jeans and a v blouse black in color and a pair of heels.

Miranda is wearing a black leather mini and a red tank top and a pair black boots with black fishnets on.

Perp is wearing a pair of tight light blue jeans and a white t-shirt with a red Anarchy symbol on it and a pair of white heels.

Penelope is wearing a pink T-shirt and a pleaded skirt pink and black with a pair of pink tight on under it and pair of black sneakers.

Torchlight says you ladies all get two thumbs up. You all look get and Captain says I agree with that and Dragon Edge looks at them and nods his head in agreement.

 Perp says let get moving ladies and by the way there is another on the way that will meet us there. Her name is Harmonee or just Harm for short.

Miranda says well she does need the break. Desdemona looks at Torch and Penelope and gives him a stare like if you try anything with her. Torch catches it and looks away ad Penelope walks up to him. Torch is also changed. He is wearing a pair of black boot cut jeans and a pair of boots and a red Polo shirt.

Torch says Penelope let’s get going I have a lot to show you today. He offers his hand and she takes it and looks back at Aurora and Miranda as they walk off.  Captain thinks to himself he is a lucky one and that girl is very pretty.

Aurora thinks well she can take care of herself but I still worry about her. Miranda lightly grabs her arm and says come on as the remaining four start to leave themselves .

Part Three

The Spa

About an hour later Miranda and Desdemona are talking about how nice today’s weather is for walking around.

 Miranda says the sun is shining real nice today and the weather is just warm the way I like it. Miranda looks around and up are the sky for a second and back at Desdemona. Miranda takes a deep breath she can feel that Desdemona has change very much since when they first seen one another and it shows on Desdemona’s face. She is now a much happier person then when they first started to become friends.

Desdemona says yeah you are right Miranda but I am more of the night girl myself. This is real early for me I mean I am never up this early. Her mind falls back to when they were in the Underground and Miranda standing by her side as they traveled fight the whole time for their lives. She real helped me not give up hope when I was there with her.

Perp is talking to Aurora about how her life is with Calvin and Preatoria today with all that is happening there.

Aurora says I am happy I am back with him we had restarted the flame… the… relationship and he can tell how much I want things to work but how can things ever be the same. She made me do so many bad things to the people who work for him when I was under her control. However there is hope I can feel in my heart that I am me again and I can tell he really truly missed me when I was not in his life and I know the days ahead with be hard by me and him however will make it together. She looks at Perp and feels that Perp feels sorry about what she had to go throw. Aurora smiles and says do not feel bad for me Perp. She holds Perp’s hand and says I will be ok and we will win this war. Perp looks back at her and the sad look on her face begins to go away.

Perp says you are right you will and Justice Corps will be there to help you do so.  She says to Aurora as she looks up and sees a Pretty wings woman with long blonde hair descend from the sky in front of her. A smile starts to form on her face.

Perp smiles and says Hi there Harm. As the woman lands in front of her and looks around Harm is wearing a white mini skirt and a black T-shirt with the Justice Corps logo on it. Perp hugs her friend and Miranda starts to Hi and tells Harm I am showing these ladies around today but mostly for Aurora and Penelope who is now with Torch.

Harm Thinks about what Miranda said to her. You left Torch alone with comes to her mind and Aurora reads that and starts to wonder was it best to leave her with him an then thinks if she needs my help she will call for me. Harm says Hi there Desdemona, Miranda and Aurora.  Oh in the spa is around the corner.

About one hour later they are on massage beds on lying on their belly’s with a white covering their backs as they are given massages by men from left to right. Harm, Perp, Desdemona, Miranda and then Aurora.

Aurora this really feels good. I cannot remember the last time I had one of this. She smiles and closes her eyes for a second then open them then notices that Perp is falling to sleep.

Perps says you are right about that Aurora… I… feel … She is out relaxed. Perp’s eyes close and she looks so relaxed that no one tries to wake her up.

Harm says Perp is out like a light laughing lightly at her as she moves her wings around to give the man that is massaging her back a better view of the area.

Miranda says Eve how are you doing over there as she reads a paper on the wall showing what movies are playing now at the theater.

Desdemona says nothing but smiles as she looks at Miranda showing that she is thinking about something.

The five ladies lay there as they the massages continue Miranda’s mind wonder off to when they were in the sauna and the talk that went one in there.

Perp says so how is it being married to a Leader of the people Aurora? As she sits in a corner with her back lean back with her arms lying on the wood board arm rest.

Aurora well it feels good that I can I know he lead my people out of this with me by my husband’s side. I will support him as he does. She leans forward with her forearms and hands on her lap. So Miranda I would like to talk to you about so stuff later ok?

Miranda says sure I am ok with that. Miranda is laying back on her back next to Desdemona with her head next her lap and one foot on the bench one leg laid flat.

Desdemona looks down at her friend who is real relax and grabs her right hand. You need to come to Preatoria more Miranda. We need more time when we are not fighting something big and nasty as she looks down at Miranda.

Miranda looks up at Desdemona and says I will be there more I promise Eve. She moves her and so her right hand’s Pinky finger is locked with Eve’s and says I promise I will be there more. This causes Desdemona to smile.

Aurora so Perp how is it leading a Team like Justice Corps? It must be a lot of work Perp? She looks at her new friend.

Perp says it’s an honor to be a leader of a group of good heart people that will be willing to give there all to protect and it can be hard work keeping the team together and working well together. We have been past a lot but I am not alone in that. Many of my members have been throw a lot before they joined and helping each one of them is my job.

Aurora says spoken like a true leader Perp. She looks at Harm who is just listening and not saying anything. So Harm my I ask how is it to have wings? They look so pretty.

Harm says Thanks and I cannot see my life without them. She smiles then fully extend them. Aurora watches this. Harm then says the life of an angel to herself.  Oh did I tell you Perp there is a movie I would like us to go see just us girls.

Back at the Justice Corps base Brass Angel is talking the bot Rusty as he starts to clean the Portal room up. Dragon Edge is looking over the armory and taking count of the ammo and weapons in the base. Captain is checking the stories of rum in the base.

Brass Angel says that is good for now Rusty. We can move to another room soon. Now where is Dragon Edge with that report?

Rusty says Yes Golden Angel I am ready for your next command. He stands there next to Brass Angel who is looking over the room and it looks very well done.

Dragon Edge yes all down with my list now to go back to Brass Angel. He walks to go to BA when he sees the Captain walking up with a list on a click board. So how is the supply of rum?

Captain well good for now but next week we will have to get more. They walk together to give BA their reports.
